The Tarangire River runs through its center, providing the only permanent water source for many miles, virtually guaranteeing enormous herds and excellent game viewing.

Day 2:

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara. Nestled at the foot of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment, the reserve is famous for its incredible beauty. Ernest Hemingway once named it the “The loveliest Lake in Africa.” It's the home to the unique tree-climbing lions, which you might have the chance to see lounging in the high tree branches.

Day 3:

Serengeti National Park

Then comes the vast expanse of the Serengeti. This leg- endary reserve supports large populations of lion, leopard and other predators that follow the great migrating herds. Hippo, elephant, giraffe and a wide variety of exotic birds are also in abundance. En route to the Serengeti, we may stop to tour the fossil beds at the Olduvai Gorge, made famous by the discoveries of Louis and Mary Leakey or a Maasai village visit can also take place — always a memo- rable experience

DAY 4:
Serengeti | Full Day Game viewing.

We drive deep in the heart of the largest and most diverse migration corridor in the world. Wild beasts, creatures of every size and description, flood the savannah in droves...herds of mammoth elephant, the stately giraffe and the lumbering cape buffalo all mix together alongside their more diminutive inhabitants...the delicate antelope, bulky wildebeest, and the comical warthog. Here we find the Old Africa of the movies, with rolling grasslands dotted by acacia trees and sweeping plains teeming with wildlife. No matter how much you have thought about Africa, this is more than you expected—and the ideal backdrop for a hot air balloon expedition.  (additional fees apply for hot air balloon safari).

Day 5:

Ngorongoro Highland

A lovely drive takes us to Ngorongoro Highland, explore the lush highlands during the day and unwind at our lodge which sits dramatically on the rim of the crater, revealing an awesome panorama of the world’s largest, unflooded and unbroken caldera.

Day 6:

Ngorongoro Crater | Game viewing

We descend into the incomparable Ngorongoro Crater, a natural caldera spanning over 100 square miles.
