After enjoying a sumptuous breakfast, we will drivel into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti – with its green endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the Serengeti, featuring the Seronera River, which is a source of the water to this area and hence acts a bloodstream to wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. The majority of the big cats can normally be found around Seronera Valley and Makoma area. The area is not only heavily populated with a large number of predators but also other animals can easily be seen elephant, birds and resident game.
These semi-permanent, seasonal camps are strategically plotted across the Serengeti according to wildlife migration patterns. Each location offers comfort in the heart of the wilderness. With spacious tents, cozy bedding, and ensuite bathrooms, you’ll have to take a look outside to be reminded that you’re deep in the bush. And no need to worry—with eco-friendly features like solar lighting, your stay won't harm the landscape.
More Exploration of the Central Serengeti
Be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a Hot Air Balloon over the Serengeti Plains (available at supplementary cost by pre-arrangement). The Great Migration and Big predators are the most well-known of the Serengeti's offerings, but there is much more to see. Thousands of equally fascinating dramas of a smaller scale play themselves out on Kirawira and Musabi plains.
Once you return from wildlife viewing, take time to sit by the fire and relax. Exchange stories of the day, write in your journals or simply enjoy the fresh evening cool breeze.
