After enjoying a sumptuous breakfast, we will drivel into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti – with its green endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the Serengeti, featuring the Seronera River, which is a source of the water to this area and hence acts a bloodstream to wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. The majority of the big cats can normally be found around Seronera Valley and Makoma area. The area is not only heavily populated with a large number of predators but also other animals can easily be seen elephant, birds and resident game.
Be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a Hot Air Balloon over the Serengeti Plains (available at supplementary cost by pre-arrangement). Floating silently above the awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa, across rivers and over the great migration.
Explore the pristine landscapes of the Serengeti National park with your safari guide's uncanny wildlife spotting instincts leading the way. Endless plains of the Serengeti, the kopjes - dramatic granite outcrops, savannah grassland/ woodland, and riverine valleys are the home to a variety of fascinating wild animals, from the lowly dung beetle to the impressive African elephant.
Spend more time searching out wildlife and exploring the western Serengeti's rich landscapes. The Great Migration and Big predators are the most well-known of the Serengeti's offerings, but there is much more to see. Thousands of equally fascinating dramas of a smaller scale play themselves out on Kirawira and Musabi plains.
Once you return from wildlife viewing, take time to sit by the fire and relax. Exchange stories of the day, write in your journals or simply enjoy the fresh evening cool breeze.
Enjoy a full day game drive in the Serengeti National Park. The majority of the wildebeest migration normally roaming around Grumet River and Kirawira and Musabi plains. The Grumet River is the place to be, sometimes the wildebeest tend to cross the river and hence provide the annual meal for Nile crocodiles.

There are millions of children in Africa who have been abandoned or orphaned as a result of the AIDS pandemic. And this is a chance to join hands and make a difference.
While safaris may be our calling, these dear children are our joyful passion. How they love—and need—the friendship and support of visitors. Our mission is to inspire and enable Shrike guests to take informed and compassionate action.
There is heroic work being done! We enthusiastically urge all travelers to spend a few hours visiting the Mayega Children’s Centre. Give your time, your talent, your resources, and your love. Become a bridge of information and exchange between cultures.
What would you do?
Sing, dance, play. Talk about your profession to teenagers. Bounce babies on your knee. Perhaps help put up a school building. Or simply provide a window to the larger world. We guarantee that lives will be forever touched. And not just the children’s.
