Great Expectations

Wayne arrived in Tanzania with high expectations.

He had travelled to some of the world's most celebrated wildlife destinations, including the Galápagos Islands, and believed it would take something truly extraordinary to surpass those memories.

All in a single day.

For many travelers, that would become the story they told forever.

For Wayne, remarkably, it wasn't.

Because the safari never stopped surprising them.

There were more unforgettable sightings.

More remarkable encounters.

More moments that no itinerary could ever promise.

As Wayne later laughed,

Looking Back

The balloon drifted silently above the plains at sunrise.

The camps welcomed them each evening with genuine warmth.

Looking back, Wayne didn't compare destinations.

He compared how they made him feel.
