Who This Journey Was Designed For

Haylea & Ryan, traveling from the United States - seeking a safari that felt personal and meaningful, followed by time to rest and celebrate by the sea.

What They Were Hoping For

A safari that felt considered, not generic.

While planning, Haylea mentioned in passing that Ryan would be celebrating his birthday during the journey. There were no expectations - just a simple note shared in conversation.

They wanted wildlife, space, and time together, with a gentle close on the coast.

How We Designed the Journey

The safari portion was paced deliberately, with private guiding and camps chosen for their atmosphere and sense of quiet.

Without drawing attention to it during planning, the team shaped one evening in the Serengeti around Ryan’s birthday - a small, thoughtful surprise that felt natural rather than staged.

Zanzibar was positioned as the final chapter, allowing the journey to soften into rest and reflection.

How the Journey Unfolded

Days on safari were immersive and unhurried.

One evening in the Serengeti unfolded differently, a quiet celebration, woven seamlessly into the rhythm of the journey. It never felt like an ‘event,’ just a moment that belonged to them.

The transition to Zanzibar was effortless. Time slowed. The journey found its balance.

Ryan had no idea. The way his birthday was woven into the safari was incredibly thoughtful - it felt personal, not planned.
